It’s time to “Give Where You Live” as we kick off North State Giving Tuesday, set for Tuesday, November 29th from 6AM – 8PM. Giving Tuesday offers a special daylong opportunity to fundraise for 191 local nonprofits at www.northstategives.org.
The event is brought to you by the Community Foundation of the North State and presenting sponsor Columbia Bank. Early Giving begins Tuesday, November 15th as all nonprofits begin accepting donations through the giving website.
Similar in format to online shopping, donors can make donations starting at $10 to one or more of their favorite organizations.
“North State Giving Tuesday is a great opportunity to not only financially support the amazing work that our North State nonprofits do, but also showcase these organizations on a larger scale,”
said Kerry Caranci, Chief Executive Officer of the Community Foundation. “There are so many unsung heroes in our community whether they work in the arts, or animal welfare, or caring for children. We hope donors’ generosity gives these nonprofits a much-needed boost.”
The 14-hour North State Giving Tuesday online event kicks off the ‘charitable season’ and is largely powered by social media marketing and grassroots campaigns. Generous local sponsors have made possible over $75,000 in prizes to be announced throughout the day on November 29th. Follow the excitement on social media with #NSGT22.
Now in its 10th year, the Community Foundation’s work hosting North State Giving Tuesday helps nonprofits market themselves via the website platform www.northstategives.org.
