City of Redding Nonprofit ARPA Grant Recipients Chosen

Ten Redding-based organizations are the recipients of City of Redding ARPA grants designated for the nonprofit sector. The City of Redding Nonprofit ARPA Fund was established in 2022 to benefit nonprofits who provide substantial services within the City of Redding and have been negatively impacted by the pandemic. Funding comes from the Federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

“Many nonprofits are continuing to experience pandemic-related struggles including decreased fundraising revenues, increased costs and staffing issues,” said Community Foundation CEO Kerry Caranci. “The community-based grant review panel prioritized nonprofits offering critical social services – including healthcare, childcare, and children’s crisis services and shelter. We are grateful the City of Redding allocated precious federal funds to support our local nonprofits and we hope those who are able support their favorite nonprofits on North State Giving Tuesday.”
