Ken Putnam Choral Music Endowed Scholarship Fund

A scholarship to benefit Shasta High School graduates who participated in the vocal music program.

The Ken Putnam Choral Music Endowed Scholarship Fund, was created by friends, family, former students and general well-wishers of Ken Putnam to mark his retirement from Shasta High School where he taught choral music for more than thirty years. Mr. Putnam’s final performance, 42nd Street, closed in May of 2002, the last in a long string of successful performances during his tenure at Shasta High School. The musicals were notable not only for the individual student performances, but also for the army of adult volunteers that helped to make each performance truly outstanding. This fund benefits Shasta High School graduates who participated in the vocal music program.
