New Opportunity for North State Nonprofits: Jumpstart Fundraising Accelerator

A new opportunity is launching through Community Foundation of the North State to support Siskiyou, Shasta, and Tehama nonprofits. Nonprofits are invited to learn more about a *brand new* opportunity for their organizations to participate in Jumpstart Fundraising Accelerator, a local capacity building program managed by national leader Network for Good!

Jumpstart is an immersive and innovative yearlong program that pairs non-profits with a personal fundraising coach, who meets with staff (virtually) twice per month to help in acquiring, retaining, and upgrading individual donors. In addition to coaching, Jumpstart includes technology tools and technical assistance, designed to help organizations execute strategies built with their coaches, fundraise more effectively during this period of uncertainty, and take advantage of heightened online giving.

Over the past six years, Jumpstart has been deployed nationally to help over 3,500 organizations, including over 50 organizations across California, to raise an average of 27% more in new revenue from individual donors!

Thanks to generous support from The McConnell Foundation, The Ford Family Foundation, and the Patricia D. and William B. Smullin Foundation, Community Foundation of the North State will be supporting six 501c3 nonprofits headquarter in and primarily serving Shasta, Siskiyou, and/or Tehama Counties, to participate in Jumpstart beginning in this spring. Two eligible non-profits will be selected from each county for sponsored participation.
