Redding Rancheria Community Fund Awards Grants to 33 Nonprofits

The Redding Rancheria Community Fund has awarded grants to 33 nonprofits in Shasta and Trinity counties totaling $99,224 which will support projects ranging from peer outreach to infrastructure repairs.

“Through the Redding Rancheria Community Fund, we continue to actively play our part in helping to address the breadth of need in our communities,” said Tracy Edwards, Chief Executive Officer at the Redding Rancheria.

The Rancheria Community Fund supports a variety of causes including cultural, historic, and educational activities.

“We are grateful for the Rancheria’s dedication to supporting the community through diverse grants,” said Kerry Caranci, Chief Executive Officer at Community Foundation of the North State.

The Redding Rancheria Community Fund – established in 2002 to support worthy causes in Shasta and Trinity counties – is one of the longest-standing funds at the Community Foundation. The fund has recently surpassed $4 million in grants.
