In her role as our Marketing and Communications Specialist, Jill is responsible for the Community Foundation’s communication strategies, including managing the foundation’s social media channels, publications and web site.
Jill joined the Community Foundation in July 2021 after a 12-year stint in San Francisco working in marketing and event production, producing large-scale events for Bay Area museums like the de Young Museum and SFMOMA. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Journalism and received her MFA in Creative Writing from California College of the Arts.
Jill first moved to Redding in 2006 and is pleased to back exploring the natural gems of the north state. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jill enjoys warm weather and spicy food, traveling, reading and collecting stories.
