Mount Shasta City Park Fund
The Mount Shasta Recreation and Parks District takes pride in overseeing operations of the Mt. Shasta City Park, Shastice Park, the Mt. Shasta Youth Sports Park and the many programs that run out of these facilities.
In 1948 the Mount Shasta Recreation and Parks District formed in order to provide diverse recreational opportunities and facilities through stewardship and partnership. The District spans an area of 142 square miles (91,000 acres), with the City of Mount Shasta, encompassing 4 square miles (2,400 acres), sitting squarely in the middle of the District.
