Burton’s 2 Shoes Fund
My grandfather, Marvin Burton, founded Burton’s Shoes in 1948 in Downtown Redding, eventually expanding to eight Burtons’ Shoes stores across the North State. As a child, I was very fortunate and blessed to be able to simply go to the shoe store to pick out my favorite shoes. I vividly remember hearing my parents say “Which shoes do you want Donny? Ok, now run around the store to make sure they fit!” Those two shoes made me feel amazing! They looked cool and I was instantly cool! I couldn’t wait to get to school to show my friends!
Now as an adult, I’m honoring the legacy of my grandfather and my father, Richard Burton, with Burton’s 2 Shoes. Our mission is to provide new shoes to local, underprivileged kids. Your donation stays local and funds will benefit organizations and schools across the North State.
