Community Foundation Awards $28,200 in Animal Welfare Grants

The Community Foundation of the North State is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2025 Animal Welfare Grant cycle. These awards will support nonprofit organizations in Shasta, Siskiyou and Tehama counties through the Animal Welfare Endowment Fund.

The Animal Welfare Endowment Fund was established to ensure that animals throughout our region receive the care, resources and shelter they deserve. It addresses key needs including support for homeless pets, owned pets whose families face hardship, wildlife conservation, assistance for working animals, and disaster-preparedness for animals.
