The Community Foundation of the North State is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2025 grant cycle for the Women’s Fund; a dedicated giving circle committed to advancing the wellbeing of women and families throughout the North State region. The Women’s Fund mobilizes the philanthropic power of women to invest in organizations making meaningful change in the Redding area.
This year’s awardees represent a broad range of nonprofits whose work aligns with the Women’s Fund mission: to create a better future for women and their families in the Redding area and beyond. Recipients will utilize grant funding to advance programs in areas such as economic empowerment, health and well-being, leadership development, and family stability.
Awards were granted to the following organizations:
Pathways to Housing
to support medical respite for uninsured women experiencing homelessness
St Vincent de Paul Society at St Joseph Redding
to provide cost of living support to bridge crisis gaps for women with children who are single & either working or attending school
Shasta Community Health Center
to support early entry into prenatal care by funding patient navigation, transportation vouchers, and community education campaigns for women in the Redding area
