Celebrating 20 years!
In 2020, the Shasta Regional Community Foundation celebrated twenty years of grant-based giving in Northern California. In twenty years we grew immensely, and we are now active in Shasta, Siskiyou and Tehama counties. To embrace how our services, geographic footprint, and communities have all grown, we changed our name from Shasta Regional Community Foundation to Community Foundation of the North State. Our new name provides clarity and an opportunity to represent all the communities we serve!

Instead of throwing a party to announce our new name, we asked for your help in giving $15,000 to 3 local nonprofits! There are many deserving groups in our service area and the vote was close. Congratulations to the following nonprofits who will receive $5,000 each!

There are many deserving groups in our service area so we’re asking you to help us decide with a vote! Voting is happening this week (8/17 – 8/21) and the winners will be announced on our Facebook page at 2pm on Friday, August 21st.
