Jason Luther

Chief Financial Officer


As our Chief Financial Officer, Jason’s responsibilities include fiscal oversight, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and accounting for the Community Foundation’s $34 million in assets.

Jason has worked as a corporate controller and accountant for two other successful non-profit organizations in the Redding area in the fields of healthcare and education. He has over 18 years experience in the banking industry in risk management, SEC reporting, and as corporate controller.  Jason is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, and received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from California State University, Chico. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant by the state of California.

Jason is a lifelong Redding area resident who enjoys the outdoors, working with his hands, and is excited for the opportunity to give back while working for the Community Foundation.
