As the Director of Community Impact, Amanda develops and maintains the Foundation’s main leadership initiatives such as North State Giving Tuesday, On the Table, the Community Disaster Relief Fund and Covid-19 Relief Fund efforts. She represents the Foundation as a trusted partner in giving and philanthropy especially in Tehama County and serves as the Foundation’s liaison to The Women’s Fund program. “I highly value the role of philanthropy in community and the difference donors make by choosing how to invest their dollars in the causes that mean the most to them.”
Amanda joined the Community Foundation of the North State team in January 2014. Her prior experience includes working with Mayers Intermountain Healthcare Foundation and Mayers Memorial Hospital District in Fall River Mills, CA and the Nevada Future Farmers of America (FFA) Foundation.
A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications, Amanda is a 2012 “20 Under 40” recipient, a graduate of Leadership Redding – Class of 2015, and Redding Chamber of Commerce’s 2017 Rising Star Awardee.
Amanda and her husband, their daughter and dogs enjoy the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
